3. FIND YOUR NEW HOME

  • Favorite homes and save them to collections

  • Nix homes that don't meet the mark

  • Schedule home tours with me

4. MAKE YOUR OFFER AND NEGOTIATE THE TERMS

  • Review contract terms, the time limit for the offer, target closing date, etc.

  • Negotiate purchase price

  • Deliver escrow check (when offer is accepted)

5. UNDER CONTRACT

  • Schedule home and termite inspections immediately

  • Acquire home insurance and send proof to your lender

  • Stay in close contact with your agent, lender, and title company

6. BEFORE YOU CLOSE

  • Transfer funds for closing

  • Schedule the final property walk-through with me

  • Stay in close contact with your agent, lender, and title company

7. CLOSING DAY: WHAT TO BRING

  • Bring your certified or cashier's check (no personal checks) in the amount your lender has provided PLUS your driver's license

8. CLOSING DAY

  • Sign all documents - closing disclosure, promissory note, new deed, etc.

  • Get your keys - congratulations on your new home!
